So let’s get real here. Disclaimer: if you have poop-talk-aversion, you may want to keep scrolling. You want to poop like a Rockstar. You want to have great digestion, no bloating, cramping, spasms or acid reflux. And then have complete evacuations that leave you feeling like you’re feather light and “floating” through your day (no pun intended). The only problem is that IT’S NOT NATURAL for that to happen when you’re constantly in fight or flight mode, making your body think it’s running for it’s life. It’s going to prioritize your SURVIVAL, not your desired frequency or even the consistency of your poop 💩
You watched the news on television last night and you lost all faith in humanity (and the government) = stress response! You had an argument with your significant other or one of your kids this morning as you were rushing out the door for work = stress response! Someone cut you off in traffic or someone was rude to you in the grocery store = stress response! You eat on the go and inhale your food because there are more important things to do with your life and bigger goals to achieve than nourishing yourself = stress response! And then we wonder why we have debilitating pain, why we have to run to the bathroom like someone just opened the biggest exit valve we have or why we close up like a clam shell 🐚 and become constipated! These are the things that will happen when you’re predominantly functioning in the sympathetic nervous system mode. Our choices (what we do, think and believe) don’t support the outcomes we desire. The same is true for sleep, fertility and libido. Your body won’t let you sleep, become aroused or pregnant if it believes your very survival is being threatened. Moral of the story!! Chill out! Relax! Unwind! Breathe! Turn the television off! Tell yourself a different story about the person who cut you off in traffic or who was rude to you in the store. Make less of a big deal of the little things or of things over which you have no control!!! Be easier about life and reap the rewards 💩 Happy Friday friends! Tag a friend!!!
