Baked Salmon

  • 4 salmon portions

  • 1 lemon

  • Fennel seeds

  • Garlic powder

  • Olive oil

  • Salt & pepper

  1. Turn oven on to broil

  2. Coat salmon with avocado oil, season with salt, pepper and garlic powder and finely grate over some lemon zest.

  3. Rub these flavors all over the salmon with your hands and place in an oven-proof roasting pan

  4. Put them in the oven on the middle rack to broil and set the timer for 14 minutes.

  5. Removed from the oven and then using a knife and your fingers, carefully peel the skin away from the flesh and flip it over. Add a pinch of salt and the fennel seeds.
